Walker AEC supply Landing
Gear, Hydraulic and
Actuation components
and assemblies to the
world’s aerospace
industry, both for the
Original Equipment
and Aftermarket

Walker AEC are an established supplier of Landing Gear, Hydraulic and Actuation components and assemblies to the aerospace industry. Our reputation for "Making Things Happen" has helped us to establish our current position within the market place.

The company was first established in 1974 as Walker Engineering (Poole) Ltd then became Walker AEC in 1994 after merging with Aircraft Engineering Components Ltd of Byfleet whilst owned by the Fairmead Group. In 2002 the company was subject to a management buyout and has traded independently ever since.

I joined Walker AEC back in 2002 because the company approached things differently. This philosophy still continues today and fully supports the ‘making it happen’ culture. Vicky Walker Finance Director

Through fifty years of evolution, Walker AEC has become a leading supplier of Landing Gear, Hydraulic and Actuation components and assemblies to the aerospace industry both within the EU and in North America. From its facilities in Poole in Dorset, Walker AEC not only machines highly complex components but manages a strong supply chain to support its material, treatments and bought out needs, so that fully processed components or even assemblies can be supplied to its customers to exacting standards under both its AS9100 and comprehensive range of customer approvals.

When it comes to complex Electro-mechanical assembly, Walker AEC’s supply of Throttle Pedestal assemblies for Business Jets shows not only a high level of machining, assembly and test competence, but demonstrates the company’s ability to manage assemblies containing 3000 piece parts.

Walker AEC pride ourselves on our ability to provide exceptional quality and service to our customers worldwide Martyn Walker — CEO and Owner of Walker AEC
